FULL FORCE TEAMS PUT ON A FANTASTIC PERFORMANCE AT THE 2008 ALASKA STATE CUP TOURNAMENT

FFSC had an outstanding showing at the 2008 Alaska State Cup tournament held in Fairbanks the week of August 11-16.

5 of the 6 teams entered reached the finals!

FULL FORCE HAS OUTSTANDING RUN AT 2008 USA CUP

Three FFSC teams attended the USA Cup International tournament held in Blaine, Minnesota July 15-20 with great results! 

The USA Cup tournament is the largest youth soccer tournament held in the United States with over 1000 teams from all over the world competing for the title.

The 92 Boys brought home the championship by playing outstanding soccer all week long and beating some very talented opponents.  After defeating their semi final opponents in a match that went through two overtimes and PK's, they went on to defeat a very good canadian team in the final by the score of 3-1 to take the crown.  The 93 boys and 95 girls showed their club support by attending the final and cheering their older team to the victory!

The 93 boys also had a fantastic tournament run getting to the semi finals before losing in the second overtime period to a very talented team.

The 95 girls also had a great tournament by winning their preliminary bracket with a record of 2 wins and 1 draw to earn an automatic bye to the quarter finals.  After dominating the entire quarter final match but not able to put one in the back of the net, the match went to two overtimes and ended in an unfortunate loss in a PK shoot out.
